Hello Deana, This website is fantastic. Great job! I love the calendar. It was so nice to go to one place and write down all the dates I need to know. LOVE IT!!!!
Yes, what Deana said. What I meant when I said that we are a new club is that we restarted the group with new members, and we started our own club basically from a start because this is our first experience with a 4H club. The club's name itself is not new, but our club is and our members are new to the club.
You are absolutely correct. The original Mane-i-acs club is over 20 years old. When it split from the Westfield area (with the Ridge Riders becoming the other half of the club), this part started completely new again in the middle of 2005 with three brand new members who are all still with club today. So, to the 15 girls now in the club, it is certainly a young club. The nice thing is that we all get to learn together. It would be also nice, though, to get some Mane-i-acs Alumni together to share what they learned from the club and pass that on to the new generation of 4-Hers. If you have any interest or know someone who does, we'd love to hear from you.
The website is fabulous, but just wanted to drop a line to let you know that the Mane-i-acs is certainly not a new club. I was the club leader for two years from 2002-2004 and before me, Cindy Parragian (sp?) did an amazing job with the club for many years.
